For this project, the Georgia collection was chosen, one of the more admired ranges in our brand due to its charismatic luxury furniture.
Picó Interiors continues to expand into the international market with different export projects around the globe. From the very beginning, almost eight decades ago, Picó Interiors has carried out refurnishment projects across the continents of Europe, America, Asia including the Middle East and Africa. In fact it is in the latter where in the last few years a magnitude of significant projects have been commissioned.
In summer 2015, Picó Interiors finished the total refurnishment of the secretary of state treasury department offices in Ecuatorial New Guinea, which was a previous colony of Spain and is currently one of the more developed countries on the African continent. Not only is Picó Interiors leading the market in terms of luxury furniture sales, but it is also the leading company in total refurbishment projects for any spaces, and the brand has also made some promising deals in recent years for future projects.
For the refurbishment in this particular project, one of the more elegant and successful collections was chosen, the Georgia collection. The decoration project for the Secretary of State Treasury Department offices included new panelling for the walls and ceiling not just in the main office but also in the adjoining corridor and hall. With a combination of Roman and Grecian styles, the Georgia collection is synonymous with distinction and elegance thanks to the neoclassical lines, detailed engraving and frames made from sycamore and orange wood on a base of walnut.
This collection has similarities seen in the style which swept the southern states of America during the 18th and 19th centuries. One of the defining characteristics of the gold and silver coated version is the dazzling luminosity it gives the room. The Secretary of State Treasury Department offices project helped the original rooms become spacious, distinguished and warm thanks to the beauty of the wood, the fine lines and the framework which is drawn and crafted by hand.
A project which also situates Picó Interiors in the leading position for worldwide exports of Spanish luxury furniture.
